Link between CardGate and the i-Reserve reservation system
The i-Reserve The online reservation system can be linked to your CardGate account. This allows customers to pay for their reservations directly using their preferred payment method, and you have a clear overview of reservations and payments in a single system. This saves you a lot of time with your bookkeeping, time you can spend doing what you love: running your business.
The Cardgate integration primarily offers the payment provider's many payment methods. The number and types of payment systems change with the market. This usually means new payment methods are added, but it can also mean one is discontinued. Our reservation system integration connects to the payment provider's checkout. This allows payment methods to be added or removed without any changes to i-Reserve.
How does the link between Cardgate and the i-Reserve reservation system work?
So how exactly does the integration ? First, to connect our booking system to CardGate, you need a CardGate account and the i-Reserve Online Payment module i-Reserve settings to allow CardGate to send feedback to the reservation system and vice versa. If everything is configured correctly, paid reservations will be processed directly in i-Reserve .

How do I set up the link between CardGate and i-Reserve ?
To set up the integration, you first need to log in to the CardGate website with your own credentials. Under the "Manage" - "Sites" menu item, you'll find the websites from which payments can be made via CardGate. Here you'll find the Site ID and Encryption Key, which you'll need to set up the integration in the i-Reserve reservation system.
At the "Callback URL" you can then place the link below, where you must replace {I-RESERVE-URL} with your own i-Reserve environment.

Next, go to the i-Reserve reservation system to configure CardGate as your payment provider. To do this, go to the configuration screen under 'Modules' - 'Reservation Payment Methods'. Enter the CardGate site ID and encryption key as listed on the CardGate settings page. A more detailed description of how this connection is established can be found in our manual.
