Slack is a messaging app increasingly used by companies to help teams communicate with each other. i-Reserve allows you to connect it. For example, whenever a reservation is received or a change is made, you can have it appear in Slack.

Your Slack connected to i-Reserve

An automated workflow is possible between i-Reserve and Slack. All sorts of use cases are conceivable. You normally use Slack for team communication. You might want to post a message when certain events occur. This could be when a reservation is made, changed, a customer is created, or when a customer or company changes status. These events are called triggers. When a trigger occurs, the associated data is sent to Slack. You can then incorporate IF-THEN constructions here. In some cases, you want a message, in others, you don't. You can then use all the fields in the message to create a clear message.

What is being linked?

To ensure both systems work well together, they exchange data. The data sent is shown in the table below.
It's important to note that Slack doesn't actually store this data (in a structured format). A message is composed based on the fields that are compiled. It's important to pay attention to privacy-sensitive data.
