What is a reservation dialogue?
I hear you thinking, a booking dialogue? A booking dialogue consists of the screens your customers go through to search for and book your activities or objects within the online booking system. When it comes to creating a positive customer experience, choosing the right booking dialogue is therefore extremely important. It ensures that your customers can quickly and easily find and book exactly what they want. An activity could be something like a tour, training, or course. Object based vs Event based reservation dialogues
But before we begin, let's first briefly explain the difference between event-based reservation dialogs and object-based reservation dialogs.
Object-based reservation dialogues
By object-based reservation dialogues, we mean reservation dialogues based on a single main product to which sub-products or individual products can be linked. Event-based booking dialogues
By event-based booking dialogues, we mean booking dialogues based on a single activity type. Various activities can be linked to this. An example of this is giving painting lessons. Painting lessons is the activity, under which you can link various classes, such as painting lessons for children, for seniors, etc.
Event-based reservation dialogs allow multiple people to register for a single activity. The price is per person instead of per item.

This allows customers to immediately see if a specific day is available in the calendar. The use of a calendar can vary from organization to organization. For example, it can be useful for reserving products for one or more days (day mode), but also for reserving time slots within a day, for example, by half-day, hour, or even quarter-hour.
Search and book dialogue
i-Reserve 's search and booking dialog allows your website visitors to quickly and easily browse the products or activities offered. The search page is designed to help visitors find the specific product or service they're looking for and allows them to view real-time availability and prices. This creates a seamless user experience for your customers and allows them to make reservations quickly and easily.
The grid
You can also use the schedule dialog. The schedule is based on a bookable product or activity. We distinguish between event-based and object-based schedules.
Event based schedule
Does your business revolve around activities? Then you can use the "Activity Schedule." The activity schedule is suitable for businesses that offer activities on specific dates, such as courses and training sessions. This schedule displays the selected Events/Activities. You can schedule an activity repeatedly at fixed times, and multiple people can register for it. The price is per person.
Object-based scheduling
If you offer products for rent, you can use an object schedule.
The difference between these two schedules lies in the setup. Just like the activity schedule, the schedule is based on a set object or product that your customers can reserve. However, unlike the activity schedule, you cannot rent out an object more than once at the same time. One customer can reserve the object on a specific day and for a specific time slot, after which it is no longer available at the chosen time. The price is usually per object.
Combination dialogue

They can then make a choice and make a reservation.
Meeting Rooms:

Tours
Does your company offer tours? Then take a look at the implementation of the i-Reserve reservation system at the Grolsch brewery. On the Grolsch website, customers have an immediate overview of the different types of tours offered. After making your selection, you'll be taken to the tour page within the Grolsch website itself, where you can check availability, adjust your group size, and book directly.
